A nice but tiring uphill stroll through the deerpark followed by a beautiful country village. Ends with a long and major road, but this leaves you back in the deerpark so not too bad.
Great walk, quite a bit in the road and we went our own way through thepark but great loop
Good hike trail. Had to go off path at times as the trail starts off nice but ends up takin you down neighbourhood roads.
Fantastic area for walking. Hills, woods, cross country trails, river, reservoir and most of all the wildlife. Bradgate park has Its own herds of Fallow Deer and Red Deer, Badgers, Foxes and miriads of birds and small mammals. All year round walks and guided tours available, along with practical courses and instruction.
Good trair for dogs, we deviated via a foot path cutting out a road. The deviation went through a golf course most the way and was extremely muddy and golfers werent best pleased even though its a public foot path. Parking is £4 for the day, toilets are free.
