WalkingGreat!

Beautiful coastal walk. It was a very grey day for us but still enjoyed it. Easy to follow - just straight along the coast and back. Part of the promenade is shut, they’re resurfacing it but there was an easy detour. It took 2 hours for us (we walk quite quickly).

Great! Dog friendly as well will need to be put on leads at certain points. The lighthouse cafe on the path was lovely for breakfast with a view of Isle of Wight.

Very enjoyable walk along Hurst Spit to the castle & lighthouse. Lots to see in terms of wildlife and really quiet and relaxing sitting just past the castle at the top of the headland. Fantastic views of the Isle of Wight. Make sure you've got sun protection and a hat/sunglasses if it's a warm sunny day as there's not much shade until you reach the castle. Hurst Castle is looked after by English Heritage. A little heavy going in places as its loose shingle. Over all a nice walk.
