A lovely part of the New Forest. A quiet, peaceful, easy walk. Stag Hill has quite an incline, but not for very long, then lovely views from the top.

Lovely walk in the forest, came across miniature Shetland ponies, new forest ponies, cows and a herd of deer ! The lake was brimming with wildlife where we spotted several dragonflies, fish, newts and damsel flies ! Beautiful scenery !

Took alternate route off of road section, however, given recent rains much of the track today was muddy. Hill views were very nice and worth the walk. Pigs foraging on acorns were a highlight!

First to Review

There's a bit on a fast road which was unpleasant but the rest was good
