The Hangers Way is a 21-mile long-distance walking route. The route starts in Alton and brings you out into the beautiful Hampshire countryside. It passes along a series of steep-sided wooded hills, known as “The Hangers” (hence the name!) and through the quaint market town of Petersfield. It finishes at Queen Elizabeth Country Park. The walk is a beautiful way to immerse yourself in nature, and along the way, you will pass through quiet villages, larger bustling market towns, meadow picnics, cosy pubs, steep hills with exhilarating views and cool, shady, peaceful woodland.
