Brockenhurst Village Walk is a 5.2 mile loop trail located near Brockenhurst, Hampshire, England that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
About the first third of this route may be possible for strollers and wheelchairs because it has a mostly gentle grade (5% or less) but all-terrain tires or motorized equipment may be needed for the unpaved surface.
Really great running trail, easy to follow, mostly on gravel trails and road. Beautiful scenery.
Started from a different spot (Ober Corner - alternative is Beechern) due to lack of parking in Brokenhurst. We preferred this way as it meant the village was the halfway point to stop for a coffe and cake. Lovely walk, great views with streams for the dogs. Best to go early in the summer as car park and roads were packed when we were leaving (2PM).
Quite busy at the weekends. Parking is limited and pay and display in Brockenhurst. Alternatively, park for free at Ober Corner or Beachern Wood.
Very nice and simple route, always on a clearly distinguishable path. went on a dry, sunny day so the walk itself was very enjoyable.
