really enjoyed this trail, it offered easy to follow paths, spots to sit and picnic right near the water and lovely views. It was quite busy and sunny when we went but we were still able to enjoy the peaceful scenery. there’s one or two steep areas along the path which are only a few minutes to walk. there is one part that takes you up a steep grass verge - i think this could prove difficult in wet weather or poor foot wear. we parked on the road and it was a minute walk to the reservoir.

Lovely walk and did all the reservoirs, 4.15 miles with plenty of stopping and starting for photos.

A lovely walk in the sunshine. Great views. Perfect for an 11 year old, my husband and myself.

I often run this trail. The paths are always good and firm. A whole loop is 3.7 miles long, and with bridges across the water you can mix and match the distance you want to run. There is little cover so if it’s windy you’ll certainly feel it. There are some steady climbs and descents to enjoy too. Recommended.

Lovely walk; did the anti-clockwise loop and found it easy enough. Very picturesque with a nice waterfall at the end.

Nice walk on a sunny day. Lots of variety. Sheep roaming so be careful with dog. Had to rescue a sheep from the reservoir as a dog chased it in.

nice walk, beautiful resevoir with a surprise waterfall at the end. paths are mostly uneven and were very muddy in places but easily passable on whole route. quite a few inclines and steps so not a flat easy walk. not much parking but very quiet so not a problem. definetly worth a visit.
