Drinkwater Park is a 11.4 mile loop trail located near Manchester, Greater Manchester, England that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options.
Drinkwater park is excellent, great cycle paths! Cycle under the 13 arch viaduct and attempted to get through to Clifton Country park. Unfortunately the path to Clifton is really narrow with shear drops to the Irwell, not advisable with young kids. The car park at Drinkwater park is sometimes closed, but there is another car park near the entrance to Forest bank prison. Once on the bikes there is a bridge which takes you over the Irwell into Drinkwater park. The routes in and around Drinkwater park are excellent, wide and well surfaced.
Lovely peaceful walk, very pretty. 1.5 hours from drinkwater to Clifton marina. Extremely muddy so dress appropriately!
Really nice and chill walk, very easy going. Very well maintained and kept nice. Brilliant for dogs. it has some football fields if you wanted to kick a ball around as well.
A little dull. But paths nice and clear. Good for a stroll. Not sure the single track section was needed.
Awesome ride out the other day with the family, all the way from drink water park to clifton Park, all very flat, a few slim paths along the river, although my daughter (9years) who isn't bike minded manage it all. Very lucky to have this on our doorstep.
