A circular walk from Battle Rail station in East Sussex. The walk performs a simple loop through nearby woodland, giving you chance to escape the buzz of the town. This walk is one of a collection published through a collaboration with East Sussex County Council. The terrain is relatively easy, although there are some hilly sections and some of the woodland paths can be very muddy. There are no stiles on route, but you will need to negotiate a footbridge, a single gate and a tight staggered barrier. Some of the paths are narrow and are prone to becoming overgrown. There is one section along a road which has only a grass verge rather than a pavement so take care of traffic here. Allow 2 hours.
