A circular walk close to the Yorkshire Wolds village of Wetwang in East Yorkshire. This relatively flat walk through arable fields is quiet and peaceful. It is a pretty walk through woodland, open fields and grassland which changes with the seasons. It is particularly good if you have nervous dogs and don’t want to encounter too many other dogs or walkers. The paths are clear and your well-behaved pooch should be able to enjoy a lovely romp on this walk. The terrain is fairly easy with clear paths and tracks between and across arable fields, which can get just a bit overgrown at the height of the growing season. There are no stiles, gates or livestock on route. There is a small amount of road walking, along quiet lanes and roads. Allow 2 hours.

Very good walk. Only issue is the abundance of flies in the wooded areas.

Lovely peaceful walk through The Wolds with some great views. Early April and it was very dry underfoot. As others have said, it's great for dogs to explore off lead, just a couple of times you need to put them on a lead for roads.
