A circular walk from Danes Dyke Beach near Sewerby on the East Yorkshire coast. If you’d like to visit a beautiful and unspoilt white sandy beach that you can let your dog have a good run around on all year round, then this walk is perfect. It also includes beautiful views of the Yorkshire coast with Bridlington in the distance, and once up a little climb through the trees, stays on flat easy to follow paths. After an initial climb from the car park, the paths are relatively flat and a mixture of grass and tarmac. The return paths are along the cliffs so some more boisterous dogs might need to be kept on a lead, however the paths are not particularly close to the cliff edge. There are no stiles or livestock on route but you will need to negotiate some steps. Dogs are welcome on the beach. Allow 2 hours.
