This route takes you along stunning coastline into the village of Farnborough. Of notable importance is Flamborough Head Lighthouse which overlooks the North Sea. In the village itself, is the church of St Oswald and was designated a Grade II listed building in 1966 and is now recorded in the National Heritage List for England. The village has a number of shops and pubs, notably The Old Dog and Duck in Dog and Duck Square. The route takes you to the remains of Flamborough Castle, a medieval fortified manor house.
