Just checked it out today on the way home and it was great. I didn’t get too far as it was very muddy and I didn’t have the right footwear but i’ll defo be heading back as it’s so scenic!

Stunning little walk along the river Derwent. Easy trail and plenty of points for a four legged friend to take an easy dip in the river! Our pooch was living his best life. Can highly recommend.

Great walk with 3 dogs.. Little bit overgrown for about 15min of the walk. Took us 1hr 20min. Lovely views by the river.

First to Review

This is such a lovely walk. I walked with 3 dogs and they were off lead the whole time. The river is always nearby so they get to have a dip and cool down when it’s hot. The second part of the trail is really overgrown and I almost turned back but it was totally worth all the stinging nettles. The rest of the walk is pure bliss. Most of it is flattish apart from a few little climbs but nothing too tiring. You go through fields, the woods, over little bridges and walk along the river.
