A peaceful wooded walk along the River Teign in Devon, which is good for both daffodils and bluebells. You can park near Steps Bridge or in the nearby free car park; then follow the bridleway through the Nature Reserve to its end at Boyland Road. This is fundamentally a linear walk, though there are three opportunities to veer off the main bridleway and walk alongside the River Teign - these are marked. The path is flat and well made, so ordinary footwear should be sufficient except in the worst of weather. There are no gates or stiles to negotiate. There used to be a circular on both sides of the River Teign. This walk is now impossible due to an access issue (a short path from the car park into Cod Wood is in private hands and permission has been withdrawn). Allow 1.5 hours.

Nice easy walk with some lovely views of the river. Unfortunately no daffodils out in May but plenty of bluebells.
