Took us 3 hours including a lunch interrupted by a couple ponies watching over us!

Lovely views down Teign Valley and also back behind to Castle Drogo - which unfortunately is still under renovation but could see how impressive it is. Visited NT Gardens beforehand which was worth doing. Lunched are Fingle Bridge Inn outside in the rain but under cover & then steep climb back up hill. Challenging but do-able & enjoyable. Would recommend.

Lovely terrain to run, a few hills to get your heart rate up. Great for dogs. The views are incredible & the river is beautiful. Fell in love!

Really boring walk... the views at the start by the castle are lovely but other than that, the walk is long, flat and just follows the river all the way. 2 climbs that get the heart rate up but absolutely nothing to see from the 2nd viewpoint. 2/10 would not recommend

Really great walk / hike. It's got a bit of everything. £4 for the car park all day and you will need a good portion of the day to do this route. It can be made shorter and perhaps even longer. One of the best national trust walks we've ever done.

We saw the Dartmoor ponies and had a lovely walk here. The FIngle bridge pub was closed but will be reopening on the 10th July 2020. We will likely revisit this walk as it was so pretty.

Really great hike with some stunning views in particularly at the start of the hike and towards the end. There’s a good pub roughly a quarter of the way through the hike which I recommend going too! There are also a lot of alternative routes to take during the hike so You can make the hike as short or as long as you want

This was a great walk though I would say that it was tough in places. Great if you have a dog. I am quite tired though I didn't do the full 8 miles more like six. Watch out for the horse flies. recommend bringing some after bite.
