Lovely vievs, good for hiking with the kids, muddy so appropriate footwear is essential.

Lovely walk! Stunning views.. It is not for the faint hearted, as it’s very rocky and extremely slippery in places, worse on the inclines and declines! Be prepared to get muddy! One we would love to re-visit in the summer!

Loved the route, was quite hilly, wet and uneven in places. I think I took a wrong turn and ended up doing 11km but still a nice route. Didn’t get into Thor’s cave as it was thick with mud and very slippy. Will revisit in the summer for sure.

Good varied trail, we went around so Thor’s cave was towards the end of the route and there was a steep climb that was hard towards the end but worth the trip for sure. We arrived at the car park on a Saturday at 11 and it was full but there’s plenty of parking on roads around so not a problem. It took us around 4 hours (with an 11 year old and a few drink stops)

Only limited parking, either go early or later. This is well worth the walk and climb for some stunning views. The cave floor is uneven and the way in and out requires and climb and some sliding on your bum.

Great trail. Thor’s cave is very good, get there early and avoid the crowds! Car park was full by 10:30 on the Saturday we did it. Quite hilly and muddy in parts.

Great walk with plenty of off lead time with my dog, very muddy in areas due to recent downpour. Lovely coffee shop on route. Parking in whetton is free with toilet facilities.
