A circular walk from Grindleford Railway Station to Hathersage and back through the Hope and Derwent Valley, returning along the Derwent River. There are great views throughout. The walk follows a mixture of surfaced tracks, pavements and unmade paths through fields and woodland (the latter of which can get muddy). You will need to cross one stile along the route (which is on the return leg). You will be sharing some of the fields with sheep so take particular care with dogs. Allow 3 hours.
