Great little hike, I’d recommend walking anti-clockwise as there was more uphill walking. So much snow. Scenery was fantastic.

Great walk today, a little boggy in areas but nothing to bad. I will be doing this one again I would say it’s a moderate walk which took us 3 hrs 40min approx 16.5k

WalkingMuddy

Lovely walk with fantastic views. Very muddy in places. We went the wrong way round by accident so was a lot more uphill. Also, very windy when by the rocks. Free parking right at the start of the walk. Would like to do this walk again but the right way round!

What an unbelievable hike that certainly was! Took my husband and I about 4hr45mins with a picnic stop. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We were blessed with incredible sunshine which was very lucky! Highly recommend, not for the faint hearted!

Nature tripsGreat!

Lovely long walk with lots of points where you can choose to adapt the walk to make longer / shorter. If looking to park nearby, put in Goyt Valley Car Park into Google Maps but don’t park at the first two stone car parks, carry on down the hill as there are more car parks closer to the start of the trail. We used a car park at the top and it made the walk about 18km in total but also makes the return to the car a very steep hill. Would rate this walk as easy!

Lovely trail, views were great going up and coming down. Never saw much at the top as is was cloudy and rainy. Very muddy along the reservoir in the forest area. Well worth it....
