A walk with South Cheshire Ramblers from Longnor proceeding west into the Dove valley and to Hollinsclough village. It then moves onto the slopes of Hollins Hill at the top of which the dramatic dragons back of Chrome Hill can be seen. At the top of Chrome Hill the ascent of Parkhouse is sighted, after which the possibility of cool refreshment draws one on to the public house 'The quiet woman' in the village of Earl Sterndale. A final climb to the see the views from the top of High Wheeldon before returning to the start.

Great enjoyable walk some scramble but quite easy excellent views

Really good walk, off the beaten track. However, once you’ve done the dragons back it takes you onto private property, we took the road around instead
