This is a beautiful short walk up to a wonderful waterfall.
Beautiful walk, easy little circuit to do. The initial walk from the town centre is along the road but eventually enters the woods. Plenty of benches along the way for those who want to rest and a picnic table by the creek/lower bridge
Gorgeous views, really clear path. Not too challenging but some very very steep sections. Still some ice in April!
Very scenic, lovely views. Waterfalls are brilliant. Short walk though but great for the scenery.
Brilliant walk! Start at the waterfall for short term steep incline but longer term gains
This was alot harder than originally thought. I think we came the opposite way round but amazing views
We did it from Troutbeck to Ambleside and back which enabled us to have a couple of pints in Ambleside then walk them off on the easier route back then a final pint in The Mortal Man before home. Really enjoyed the walk views over Windermere superb.
Amazing views of Windermere & Ambleside from the top of Wansfell. Troutbeck is a nice spot for lunch and has a teashop.
Hottest day of the year but a lovely walk from Ambleside circular walk ... mixture of terrains. Waterfalls included
Short, sharp and pretty. Nice walk if you want to stretch your legs for an hour or less. Plus there’s a cosy pub when you get back with a good range of local ales.
