Scafell Pike from Wasdale Head is a 5.7 mile out and back trail located near Wasdale Head, Cumbria, England that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October.
Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England, at an elevation of 978 meters above sea level. The place has breathtaking landscapes and incredible views. Feel the pure air and connect with nature. It can be quite rocky and heavy winds on the way up but it's really an enjoyed challenge. You got to be prepared, this is a real adventure for those who are quite experienced. The river crossing can be quite difficult, so do wear waterproof walking boots and suitable equipments.

January 9, 2021Unreal! Heavy snow further we got up but made the walk even more better than what it is!! Weather at the top -12 , back down no tracks due to snow came down routed on here 10/10 day
January 9, 2021January 1, 2021Very rocky limited features on the hike except the streams, light hiking footwear with shank and ankle support needed. Steep ascending beautiful views on the top very precarious coming down in winter as of the smooth rocks suggested getting down way before sun sets.... Think I will stick to rambling for comfort and views

We had truly abysmal weather and almost no visibility at points but the route is well maintained and passable even with water streaming down the path. Descent is markedly quicker than ascent. Hiking poles or a good stick are advantageous in crossing the river about half an hour in, which was high with rainwater and a bit tricky. Thoroughly worthwhile trek.

September 20, 2020The sun blasted us for the whole 4 hours. If it’s sunny, take a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water. This walk is difficult and technical in parts.
