This is a great walk and can be very challenging (especially a bit before the peak where you have to scramble up a lot of loose rocks). The views at the top are spectacular.
The walk is hard going !! some scambling is required. not suitable for young kids and big dogs. The views were stunning.
Did this in reverse. About 1 hour 30 to summit then the trail down is quite tricky and not for the faint hearted. Amazing day out. Got lucky with the weather for December.
Great walk, very challenging - especially a bit before the peak where you have to scramble up a lot of loose rocks. I’m not very confident with that kind of thing but managed to do it (just!). If you’re scared of scrambling then I’d take the route coming up the other side
Glorious weather and stunning views, but quite tough walking - relentless climbing and walking down little easier!
Best route is to do this circular route a lot more quieter than the traditional route, amazing inclines and the last 3rd scrambling over loose rocks on a very steep incline then finish with a decent downhill descent although the route can be busy highly recommend this route completed 3hrs 45mins with a 10 minute stop at the summit
Good, high energy trail, steep incline and long decline with small amounts of climbing and 1 particular area that requires a level head for heights
