April 11, 2021Great route, steep for the first 500m but worthwhile for the views over Rydal, Lake Windermere and on a clear day views of Morecambe Bay, Yorkshire Dale's, Blackpool Tower and Barrow-in-Furness. From Nab Scar carry on to Heron Pike.

First to ReviewAbsolutely beautiful walk, but harder than moderate! After the first climb, it goes off trail and involves some challenging but fun navigation. dangerous without proper hiking boots. Would not do when wet or raining. The views are breathtaking!
