A great route taking in 3 of the Langdale Pikes - Pavey Ark, Harrison Stickle and Pike Of Stickle. Not very far in terms of distance, but a lot of up and down over rocky terrain.

Def not moderate rating. This is a dangerous rating. Difficult at least. I would say Very difficult. The climb is absolutely brutal and relentless. The way down is just as steep as the way up. There are two places where you’ll edge around a cliff face. ABSOLUTELY NOT for dogs. Had to carry/ lift mine about 20 times. Doesn’t matter type of dog. They won’t be able to get over areas. Otherwise this is one of the beat and hardest walks I’ve done. Enjoy

Great walk, should probably be classed as hard... some shear drops at dungeon ghyll that may be worth avoiding when planning route, highly recommended!

The weather wasn’t great but I imagine the views would be great on a better day. In wet weather definitely wear decent boots as it’s extremely boggy. I would use a map and compass in bad weather with no visibility and it’s easy to get lost on the top flat parts.

A tough walk! Would rate this hard instead of moderate. A scramble in places with sheer drops at times. Totally worth it though with incredible views for the majority of the route. We did it with an old dog and a 6 month old baby- bit of an adrenaline rush!

A relentless climb is quickly forgotten with amazing views from the summit of Loft Crag all the way round to Harrison Stickle. Stickle Tarn is definitely worth visiting and provides a well deserved refresher swim-stop. The track back down follows Stickle Ghyll right to the end where the pub is waiting. Be prepared for very boggy and rocky conditions, and take spare change for parking.

Great trail - but be prepared for some muddy and windy parts. Beautiful views at the top and a couple other trails you can follow if you are feeling adventurous. Be aware there are no trail markers so be prepared to kind of find your way around. Also, you have to pay for the car park.
