Coming in at just over 20miles, this Killer may not sound quite as grizzled as some we’ve published in these pages over the years; but be warned, with 1400m of climbing packed in to its diminutive form, it really does live up to the billing.

Beautiful hike along the ridge line. First 1-2 miles somewhat of a scramble straight up to the ridge. Hike along the ridge fairly easy with beautiful views. Many pools of standing water at the top to refill containers if you bring filtration. Not something I would do with the little kids unless they are very experienced hikers. No camping spots but plenty of open grass on the ridge to pitch a tent if needed.
