YES: - directions takes you straight to free car park - dog friendly walk, plenty of shadow and access to Dee river - "loop type" track with decent length and many food/drink places to enjoy right by the Dee in Chester (pubs/restaurants/ice cream parlours) NO: - section which takes you back on main rads (under Grosvenor Bridge in Chester) is bit overgrown POSSIBLE RETURN: - yes, but instead of going under the Grosenor Bridge go across river and (blue bridge) and then on Grosvenor Bridge.

Lovely walk along the river and through parkland. We slightly changed this walk by crossing over the bridge to Chester and sitting on the benches while having a coffee etc, then crossing back over at the next bridge to continue the walk!

Excellent walk which has lovely river pathway, beautiful views across the river when you get into Chester. Chance to have fish and chips and a beer at the Boat House, and a really nice return through the park.
