Lovely walk, nice paths and very well kept. Unfortunately we were unaware of the outdoor shooting club within the park and had our dog with us who was petrified. The gunshots were LOUD and like continuous fireworks. Would definitely come again but check the opening times of the club beforehand

I’m sure the walk is lovely if you don’t get lost. So many more paths in real life than shown on the map and 1st time using the app. The paths are wide and good. Nice scenery but we did spend most our time trying to get back on the correct path! I’m sure the issue is me and my lack of direction not the map!!

Walking
First to Review

Did this walk on a sunny day and it was lovely, a nice variety of path, meadows and a forest. Nothing too strenuous, only a couple of steeper bits but they were only a couple of minutes if that. The path along the river is a bit narrow, but then it opens ups when you reach the meadow overlooking the old salt mines. I did have to walk through the parking lot but other than that my dog was off lead the whole time and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. There is pay and display parking at the nature reserve, but I had actually walked over from Marbury Country Park which is close to it. You can also easily loop in Neumann's Flash if you are looking for a longer walk.
