Woburn Deer Park is a 8.1 mile loop trail located near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options.
Can be very muddy and slippery underfoot after heavy rain - walking boots or wellies definitely recommended. Car park is free and fully covered by CCTV cameras. The walk takes you along the perimeter of Woburn Safari Park, where you can see black bears, zebra, elephants and other animals. The safari park has recently attached debris netting along the fence - this does limit some aspects but you can still see the animals. There are some kissing gates to navigate, but no stiles so good for dogs.
Amazing trail, quite longer than expected but in all lovely. Quite muddy in some parts, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear. Amazing views, great wildlife with so many deers, birds and horses. The countryside with little villages is a really lovely chance of scenery too! 10/10 for a few hours hike.
A great loop for seeing deer and other wildlife. Was muddy but all footpaths were accessible and easily marked. Really enjoyable.
Nice mix of fields and woods with lots of wildlife from kites to grouse
