A lovely walk along the Wendover Arm, up into Wendover Woods - quick cuppa at Woods Cafe - part of the Gruffalo Trail and then walk along part of the Ridgeway back into Wendover.
This review is for the first part of the hike. Other complaints here are true. The path on the way to Kingsash disappears on to a fenced private property and you end up back tracking. Easiest way to avoid is to take the Chiltern Link path and join the road going to Kingsash. Should be normal from there...I think.
Began as a nice walk until we got to a part of forest that had been cut down and replanted. Trucks and machinery had removed the paths or redirected them. Even once we navigated past that part it was near impossible to stay on track. Explains why so many of the recordings don't follow the route.
