Nice trail, with varied terrain and the occasional incline to keep it interesting.

HikingGreat!

Beautiful views of the Chiltern Hills. Elevation and decline over the various hills make it feel like a nice work out. There was a point where there is no internet and so had to guess which public path was the right one (I got it right and didn't end up in Peru!).

Hiking

A lovely walk along the Wendover Arm, up into Wendover Woods - quick cuppa at Woods Cafe - part of the Gruffalo Trail and then walk along part of the Ridgeway back into Wendover.

Running

Nice rural trail, until you reach Wendover woods where it gets very busy near the go ape.

After the first part which is misleading for the trail map, I didnt find myself enjoying this hike too much. The open areas were nice but too often the trail cut off to small narrow paths that rejoined later on and I found myself using the map too often.

This review is for the first part of the hike. Other complaints here are true. The path on the way to Kingsash disappears on to a fenced private property and you end up back tracking. Easiest way to avoid is to take the Chiltern Link path and join the road going to Kingsash. Should be normal from there...I think.

First to Review

Began as a nice walk until we got to a part of forest that had been cut down and replanted. Trucks and machinery had removed the paths or redirected them. Even once we navigated past that part it was near impossible to stay on track. Explains why so many of the recordings don't follow the route.
