Hilariously muddy due to the time of year but a lovely walk. Some moderate inclines and steep steps but these are downhill if you do the route clockwise.
No signs or marked foot ways to begin walk, crazy busy in lockdown and no where to park. Tried to pull in like others and got told off by the locals. Parked elsewhere and then overheard locals complaining about people going for walks around there. When walking someone also didn’t bother distancing on a narrow path and nearly barged past us. So annoyed with lack of directions and locals, we turned home
Really magical forest, struggled up the steps with my toddler on my back. Pretty quiet great for dogs and kids.
