Backwell Lake is a 0.5 mile loop trail located near Clevedon, Somerset, England and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Blackwell Lake has been a nature preserve since 1990. It is a good area to spot the Greater Horseshoe bat. The lake is not for fishing, cycling or swimming. Though you cannot ride your bike around the lake, you can cycle to the trailhead via The National Cycle Route 33. There are bike racks at the trailhead. It is also accessible via bus -Nailsea and Backwell Station is 0.1 miles away.
Nice short trail with a path all the way round. Good for family’s of all ages, ducks and swans to see and horses in the fields.
