Walking

Very nice walk a wide variety of scenery, from fields, woodland and riverside. I'd recommend doing the walk clockwise as there are some steep parts just before the riverside walk which are easier when going down instead of up. I'd give this walk 5 stars if there were instructions or waypoints as at a few points it was difficult to work out where I was. Other than that I highly recommend this walk!

really hot day today but I loved this one. there's some fantastic big open spaces. the portion in woodland paths is smaller than I expected but that's disregarding the roads littered with trees and the copse's along the river. I would say if you want better views of the river maybe not ideal as the path is about 4m away from the river and you have 5ft reeds between. I would also suggest going clockwise as the shade is more so on the river stretch. great farmland.

Great walk, includes riverside path, open fields and woodland. Very little road walking. Lovely looking restaurant / bar called Coppa Club at the end of the walk. Definitely recommend this trail.

Nature trips

A great trail.. maps are accurate to 99% but the deviations werent too much so it was fun. Views are amazing and the terrain variations (fields, river banks, sonning village) everything is worth enjoying enroute. Best recommended time of year - Summer Best recommended time of day - early mornings (sun rise over shiplake farms, birds chirping along thames, swans at their best in the fresh golden sun) Made a short video of best things we saw. You can find it here https://youtu.be/7W92pYOZF8I

Lovely trail, pretty flat and good for dogs, my two were off-lead most of the way. Beautiful river views for half the walk and sweeping hill views for the second half.

Great walk, along the river, then through fields and woods via bridleways and public footpaths. Great views and scenery. Great for kids though take snacks and drink.

It looks like it would be really nice but in the winter it is so muddy. It was flooded on part of the path on the Thames so we didn't make it round but even if we had, 2 miles slipping in the mud is not enjoyable. We'll try again in the summer when we think it could be quite pleasant.

Great trail, however very very muddy along the Thames path part. Note for next time, walk it after dry weather!

Grass and bush is too big at some places, so you can barely see the sign posts.
