WalkingGreat!

A beautiful was with stunning views. Some steep climbs but nothing too heavy going. Really enjoyable walk along the Thames, up hills and through woods.

Really lovely walk. Great views from Hartslock Hill. Recommend you leave the walk by the riverside for the end.

Hilly walk! Lots to see. Lovely mix of riverside and woods. We parked at Sheepcot and did a loop of the field to make it 10km.

Really enjoyed this walk. Would have probably said it’s moderate if I’m honest. Lovely views and varied surroundings. I parked at Sheepcot recreation ground and that was ideal.

Lovely walk, so nice to be by the river. I'd definitely start by going down by the river. very pleasant to end with a still through the forest. Quite muddy so wear good shoes.

Great varied walk. If you start along the river there’s a good place to sit and enjoy the view and catch your breath after first incline. Woods are gorgeous.

Walking

Really nice walk with excellent views and varied trails. Lovely walk going through the village, then along the river followed by quite a steep hill and a gradual incline which might test your fitness levels a bit. Be aware that parking is currently £3.30 for all day at Goring station on Sat/Sun and costs slightly more during the week (but it is worth it).

First to Review

Lovely late summer morning walk. Fast flat stretch along Thames towpath, decent climb then nice paths through the beach woods and some lovely views of the river towards the Goring Gap. About 90’ if you’re pushing it.
