This is a segment of the longer Sjællandsleden trail or North Sea Trail. It's a beautiful varied segment, taking you past beautiful views and a few historical sites. One of them is Oringe Hospital, established in 1857, and its surrounding park form a beautiful whole and fits exactly in the natural surroundings of Oringe peninsula. Borgruinen and Gåsetårnet are remnants of some of Dennmark's most powerful medieval castles built under, among others, Valdemar Atterdag. At the ruins, there is also the Historical Botanical Garden and the South Zealand Museum.
