Zealand Trail/North Sea Trail: Skælskør - Sibberup is a 8 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Skælskør, Zealand, Denmark that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options.
This trail is a segment of both the Sjællandsleden (Zealand Trail) and the North Sea Trail. The North Sea Trail goes over 7 countries past the coast of the North Sea, the Sjællandsleden goes around the entire province of Zealand. This segment runs between Skælskør and Sibberup. You start the trail in the old town of Skælskør. The trail first goes up to the wide avenue to Borreby Herreborg, to farmlands and through meadows. Close to Borreby is a bog area with many birds, a popular area under birdwatchers. The last part of this segment runs through Basnæs Estate before ending in Basnæs Forest.
