This is a part of the long Sjællandsleden trail. This segment starts in the harbor of Kalvehave, where all enthusiasts of old boats could spend a few hours of wandering around. The trail goes through Viemose Forest and past some great ocean views to Sandvig.

Ruten går gennem Viemose Skov med mange høje bøge og ad mindre landeveje gennem landsbyerne Sageby og Kindvig. Hele strækningen ligger højt i landskabet med udsigt over Bøgestrømmen til Nyord og Møn. Undervejs kan ses resterne af Kalvehavebanen, der blev nedlagt i 1959 og den lukkede Proms Kemi, der blev landskendt for en omfattende miljøforurening.
