Madum Lake is a 4.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Skørping, North Denmark, Denmark that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options.
Trail around the largest lake on the Himmerland peninsula, Madum Lake. It's both a bird sanctuary and a popular bathing spot for locals. The lake is surrounded by Rold Skov forest, making it a gorgeous place to hike around. Passerine birds dominate in this area, along with buzzards, goshawks, sparrowhawks, long-eared owls, tawny owls, black woodpeckers, green woodpeckers and ravens. In winter months the lake is more popular amongst whooper swans and merganser ducks. The trail is well signposted. Some parts of the trail comes over privately owned area but is opened to public. Fishing and paddle sports on the lake are prohibited.
