Horsens Municipality has built a wetland area in Bygholm Enge. The area is a total of 80 hectares and improves the aquatic environment by removing approximately 12 tonnes of nitrogen per year. In addition, the area is a true paradise for birds and plants, and shortly after the inauguration, rare breeding birds were observed on the Horsens edge as, for example, double belly and gray-throated patchwork.
