Yukon River: Carmacks YT to Dawson YT is a 402.3 kilometer lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Carmacks, Yukon, Canada that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for nature trips and canoeing and is best used from June until September.

Launch at Carmacks, paddle and camp along the Yukon River to Dawson (South to North is down stream) Follow the Goldrush 49'ers down the Yukon River in canoes or kayaks. 250 miles sounds like a long trip - but with the 6-9 knot current sweeping you along, it is an easy paddle with only a few exciting spots. You can see moose, bald eagles, bears, wolves and abandoned towns along the way.
