Cross-country skiingIcy

Took the Ski Trail connector route from the parking lot west to the Fox Trail around back to Warmup Shack and back to trail head for 5.8 km loop. A couple of icy spots on downhill sections.Great day with wife Kim no matter what

Great!

Took the Grandkids 5 and 7 for a hike on the Mink Trail. Trail is great with just boots. So much fun. Top of the hill is a warm up shake where we are our lunch.

WalkingBugsFeeNo shade

This trail would probably be better in the fall for scenery. It felt like walking in a farmers field. The trail heads are unmarked. Since you are paying for a day park pass for this hike I highly recommend bringing a swim suit and a towel to end you hike with a swim. I thought since we were in the valley we would have more elevation and hill scenes but it's not like that. The trails are wide and that is nice, but there isn't a lot of shade bring lots of water sunscreen and bug spray.

Must place for hikers live near Regina looking for water and green with lots of shade with enough options to manage the length from 2km-13km.
