Pickerel Lake is a larger lake (136ha) in the Porcupine Mountain Provincial Forest. The lake is located along an old haul road, and is most commonly accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. It is not recommended to hike this trail in the summer because of damage created by ATVs, however is still possible. This trail is not maintained, and therefore fallen trees may complicate passage. Pickerel Lake is home to very targetable walleye, and northern pike populations.

Great Fishing destination! The lake is only a short distance away, but it can be hard to access due to the trail conditions
