This is a great trail and an awesome workout. It can be a little buggy in a few places but if you don’t stop then they don’t bother you too much. It’s a fairly flat trail with a major hill at the very beginning. After that the hills are very moderate. The end goal is a refreshing swim in Lac Phillipe.

A really solid intermediate trail. We chose this one for a Canada Day hike as we expected it to be not heavily trafficked and were not disappointed. The bugs were out and biting, but were tolerable with spray. The trail has fairly good tree coverage, so you get decent shade even in the height of the day. Along the way there is one rest/sos station that you can break with shelter and outhouse style bathrooms. The trail ends at a nice little beach that you can swim at if you’d like to refresh, or for those who like to feel as though their hikes have a destination. I would definitely recommend checking out this trail.
