To go there from Mont-Carmel, you have to take Rg Saint-Flavien O from Rd 157; that road become Chemin du Rang des Grès after a right turn. The trailhead is near the entrance of the dam; you will see a wood bridge on your right (when you go down the road to the dam). You have to climb many stairs and go straight at the top. There's no signs for the trails but the main trail is along the river. The trail stop at a railway.

beau sentier, glissant par endroit, belle vue sur le st-maurice.

A must do in the region!! Great panorama from the dam and the river, nice trail, well maintained and lots of creeks with beautiful little streams. May be steep at some places but the trail is really awesome for the view! Take me 1 hour and a half to go to the railway with some stops to relax and admire the place.
