National Hiking Trail - Jacques Buteux Segment is a 3.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Saint-Jean-des-Piles, Quebec, Canada that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This loop is a part of National Hiking Trail - Jacques Buteux segment. Follow J1 thru J7 (blue markers), trails names are : La Falaise (steep for the first part, you walk along the cliff and you'll see many lookouts with amazing view on the St-Maurice River), then Le Torrent (along a beautiful mountain stream and waterfalls) and easy last part Les Bénévoles. Trail is well-maintained and well-marked.

Hike that trail many times, maybe the best in the area. Gorgeous views, took me about 1hr40min for the entire loop with few stops to admire the landscape. A must-do!
