The trail starts at the parking lot on Bombardier Road, along the North side of Ely Creek. A 500 m access trail going west leads to a bridge where the view over the gorge is magnificent. The path to Mount Cathedral (Mont Carré) offers breathtaking views of Lake Brompton and the Mount of Three Lakes. At a modest altitude, Mount of Three Lakes offers beautiful views of Lac Simoneau, Lac des Monts and Lac Fraser thanks to the steep cliffs that border it.

We went today and it was so beautiful.!
Tough towards the end but still very shady and breezy.
We saw nobody during the whole hike!
There is a spot to parc your car where the map is and the trails begin there.

The trail was really nice and very well marked, muddy in some spots after a weekend of heavy rain, but beautiful view at the top of Trois Lacs and very few other hikers. If you plan on doing it, you need to be a member for entry for the trail/parking and can buy a day pass online!
