Mont Xalibu is a 6.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Mont-Albert, Quebec, Canada that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and running and is best used from May until October.

Tout d’abord en entrant dans le parc national de la Gaspésie , il n’y a plus de réseau cellulaire , donc prévoir l’achat de votre accès via internet avant , ou sinon vous arrêtez au centre de découverte et service qui se situe à 3-4 minutes de l’entrée pour se rendre au stationnement du mont . En ce qui concerne la randonnée , une montée soutenue pendant les 3.5 km du début et le dernier km et demi est assez incliné et très rocheux !! Ça prends des bottes avec une bonne semelle et un bon soutien. Pour les bâtons de marche personnellement ils m’auraient nuit plus que d’autre chose mais plusieurs personnes en ont ! En haut , c’est venteux , un bon manteau style doudoune, tuque et mitaine ! Pour la vue , du bonbon pour les yeux , ca vaut le déplacement ! La descente est plus difficile sur le dessous des pieds et les genoux mais se fait quand même très bien. Petit point négatif , il s’agit d’un aller-retour donc lors d’une journée achanlandée , on croise beaucoup !

Paysages spectaculaires! Plutôt intermédiaire, difficile à cause du dernier kilomètre rocheux. Ça prend de bonnes bottes et des bâtons, surtout pour la descente. Mais l’effort vaut mille fois la récompense, c’est superbe et les paysages sont splendides! Sommet venteux, prévoir de quoi se couvrir.

My favourite part was the view of Lac aux Americans, but Xalibu was less interesting overall than the other hikes because it featured less variation in scenery. Does include a lake, waterfall and forest though so still very nice!

Un des plus hauts sommets de la Gaspésie. Belle randonnée dans le bois qui se termine avec le dernier kilomètre au-dessus des arbres. Apporter un coupe-vent et des vêtements plus chauds pour cette altitude. Il y a un point d'observation sur le lac aux Américains. Une durée d'environ 4h en tout !

super montagne vu incroyable en haut vu sur des lacs et chute le point de vu vaux le detour:) si vous ete habituer de monter des montagnes c assez facile dernier kilometre est seulement des roches un peu plus dur prit 4h aller retour je le conseil

You start the trail on some flat ground up until you reach Lake Americans. Take a stop here to take in the views and the lake. After the lake, the terrain gets pretty challenging as it’s all rocks. Good hiking boots and poles would be advised for a good hike thats not too hard on your knees etc. It’s fairly steep so keep that in mind too. We did it when it was a beautiful sunny day, can’t imagine what it would be like in rain or a storm. Once you pass the treeline... the views are beautiful! Bring layers as it gets pretty windy up at the summit!

Randonnée super ! Un peu technique sur la fin mais les différents paysages et points de vue valent la peine ! Un peu de boue à quelques endroits. Prévoyez une bonne veste ou un pull pour le mont car beaucoup de vent tout en haut !

Beau sentier int/facile...juste le dernier 1.5 km plus intermédiaire vraiment.. Je conseille les bâtons de marche en raison des roches et boues par terre. Vue magnifique. Elle vaut vraiment la peine d’être faite
