The following rules govern access to Mont Jacques-Cartier: Going off marked trails is prohibited Hiking on the Mont Jacques-Cartier trail is authorized only from June 24 to September 30, inclusively Hiking on the trail is authorized only between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Departures are not permitted after noon. A park warden makes sure theses rules are respected.
