The Luskville Falls Trail has a 290-metre climb up the rocky slope of the Eardley Escarpment. At the top you have a superb view of the Ottawa River Valley. Along the way, learn about plants and trees on the escarpment, the most spectacular ecosystem in Gatineau Park. Dogs and pets are not permitted on the Luskville Falls Trail.

Very intense for novice hikers, but the river can be used to cool off , views are fantastic and trail never gets boring.

We dressed in long sleeves and hiking pants and sprayed for mosquitos, black flies etc. And we saw few! Most of the trail was marked fairly well. We had 4 instances on the return back where we were off path, met other people looking too, but in a short period found our way again. The terrain initially and at the end requires you to watch your steps very closely. You don't want to fall onto jutting rocks or exposed roots! Take your time for sure. I will come back in a different season, it's great outdoor exercise!

Best in the area! Your legs take a pounding on the way down but worth it for the views.

An enjoyable hike, with a couple of nice lookouts, that we accomplished in about 2.5hrs including time for photographs and a snack. The blackflies were bad, especially near the fire tower.

First km straight up the escarpment then relatively flat from there. About 5 km from parking lot to an SOS cabin complete with picnic tables, wood stove and outdoor facilities. Cabin was down a gravel road past the fire lookout tower. Good hike - but black flies were insane so dress appropriately. Some trails closed due to seasonal floods.

Loved this hike! More of a challenge than I expected. Can't wait to go back :)

Great trail close to the city. Good training for bigger climbs. Nice views on the way up. Fire tower at the top. Good mix of terrain. Great for trail running. Moderate difficulty.
