Muddy trail due to rain. Lots of bug bites. Possible to hike in fall when the climate is drier. Summer is a bit messy.

Poorly marked - started a few sections only to find out halfway through that they’re closed.

Hiked Lac Paradis and Mount Shawn - Poorly marked trails, some are closed if you want to try the adjacent trails, it’ll not be possible. No nice viewpoint beside the lake. You’re just going up to see power poles and highways from a far. This is not worth a 4.5 stars trail. I’ve done lots of 4.5 stars and it doesn’t look like this one - at all. Overall, total disappointment compare to other trails. The only good thing is it’s free and shaded 90% of the trail.

Nice trail! Nice view on the lake. Wooded and rocky at times. Trail marking and sign could improve.

A very average hike, really nothing special but nice for a few hours outdoors. The trail is marked well at the beginning but the further you go, the less so it becomes. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out where we were and where we needed to go. Views from the top are decent, the fall foliage makes it better. Overall not a bad hike but nothing too special.
