Hickory Trail is a 0.5 kilometer heavily trafficked loop trail located near le Plateau, Quebec, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

For toddlers this is a 5 star trail. One half of the trail has old growth trees and the other half has newer growth. There are interpretative panels explaining the different trees. It's a short trail but beautiful in the fall. Very gentle and perfect for little kids.

Unfortunately it seems the trail has been closed the last few years and the parking lot is blocked off. Maybe Gatineau Park is trying to regenerate the trail?
